All research hub meetings details are now listed in the events pages under the hubs category.
The research hubs bring together osteopaths in clinical practice and include a range of different activities. Hub activities are driven by the osteopaths and these can include looking at research on particular areas of practice, discussions of interesting or challenging patients and the best approach for their management or diagnosis, and sessions on activities like data collection or clinical audit.
Over the years that the hubs have existed, they have undertaken small projects involving practice-based data collection and have developed tools for clinical audit. The hubs meet either in the evening or on Saturday mornings and since Covid have been online. They cover a range of geographical areas and currently include: Bristol, Exeter, Leeds, and Haywards Heath.
If you would like to join one of the meetings, please contact the Research Officer for details of the venue and papers being discussed: Carol Fawkes on 07732 178 308 or carol.fawkes@uco.ac.uk.
